So, the US allegedly wants a peaceful resolution in the current Lebanese political row. To that end, they have sent a warship.
In a "show of support".
WTF???
How does a warship send a sign of support for the country to elect a new president? What is a warship (which will be stationed out of sight of Lebanon, btw) going to do to aide in the process of election?
I think Hezbollah is right on this one - the US warship is a threat, an attempt to spark tension, with the desire that that tension result in an outcome favorable to the US.
