After the Andes mint topping issue, I have made it my mission to find a way to make a topping that can hold its form while still being made with a heavy cream base.
So, this past week we worked very hard on choosing a new flavor to challenge ourselves with but still needing us to have a heavy cream based topping. Bananas Foster was the winner, We made the original recipe for Bananas Foster and folded it into my base, from there I created and banana liquor topping (THAT HELD ITS FORM!) and a caramel topping. I never thought I would make a cheesecake that I felt was better than the plain original, but DAMN! I rocked this out.
this was taken before the topping was completed.
