I just made the most awesome scrambled eggs ever!
Start by cooking up a couple of strips of bacon; cook at medium-high heat until they've cooked to desired crispiness.
Remove bacon from pan, turn off burner. Carefully swirl the hot bacon grease around the pan to ensure an even coat, then pour off the excess, replacing the pan on the still-hot-but-turned off burner. Quickly crack open a couple of eggs, and immediately start scrambling them with a spatula. I then added the following to taste:
Mrs. Dash Steak Grilling Blend, Garlic Powder, Lemon Pepper, and Jamaican Me Crazy salt.
Then toss in a dash of lemon juice, and some Italian sausage (pre-cooked; we had some leftover from making spaghetti the other day), and continue scrambling until done. The leftover heat in the pan, bacon grease, and burner (this by the way was an electric stove, might not work as well on a gas one) is enough to cook the eggs and heat up the sausage, and it makes for some amazing scrambled eggs!!
I ate them on a toasted onion bagel with the strips of bacon on there as well, and the whole sandwich was delicious, but it was the eggs that were truly amazing!
