The spat between PP and the Susan G. Komen Foundation is still fresh in most of our memories -- a huge uproar against the latter because, for purely political/perception reasons, they chose to cut off funding to the former.
Now we learn that before that, PP did exactly the same thing to a man who wanted to give them half a million dollars, practically on the eve of them having to shut down several Texas clinics for lack of funds. Apparently, PP is more interested in perception than they are in actually helping women, despite their rhetoric against the Komen Foundation!
Can anyone defend this? Or is this exactly what it looks like -- PP putting perception over their alleged mission of providing much-needed women's reproductive health services?
