So, Matt Smith has just announced that he's leaving after his Doctor regenerates in the Christmas special at the end of the year.
However, Steven Moffat has said that they haven't picked the new actor yet, so I still stand on my previous speculations.
On the other hand, this stands in stark contrast to earlier announcements from the BBC that Matt Smith would keep his role at into the next season. Could this all be a setup?
