They'll end up a minor fringe party, like the Constitutional party here or some of the Nationalist parties in Europe. Hopefully they stay there. Which isn't to say they won't enjoy a brief resurgence on the back of dissatisfaction with Obama; they just aren't going to stay viable in the long run.

I also think the Dems will fracture without an opposition party. We're already seeing it.
