I'm thinkin' that there may only be four main sections that would each have as many subsections as needed. And the symbols that represent each of these sections are the four above.

The sections are basically: [[defender]] (right symbol), [[server]] (bottom symbol), [[science]] (left symbol) and [[explorer]] (top symbol). The explorer section is made out of members who are primarily interested in exploring but their main subinterest is a field in one of the other sections. These members are also trained in fields of the other sections to a greater extent then members of those other sections are trained in fields of other sections. Basically, the explorer section is like Starfleet from the Star Trek universe.

The area of each symbol is the same to symbolize that each section is equally important.

Having the explorer symbol in the middle symbolizes that it is made out of the other ones.

The symbols for each section may appear singly xor they may appear as a shaded portion of the whole symbol...

The whole symbol represents the four main sections of grek.

Some of the subsections of the four main sections could be:

[[defender]]: armed forces, intelligence agency, police force, etc. ...

[[server]]: construction, maintenance, etc. ...

[[science]]: all the scientific fields, etc. ...

[[explorer]]: [[defender]], [[server]], [[science]], etc. ...

Subsections of a section can be completely autonomous from eachother. There can be subsection within subsection within subsection... whatever is needed.
