If you do not desire one to be impatient with you then you must be patient with one. And since you can still be impatient with one you must remember that and be understanding when one is impatient with you.
I regret my impatience with one, especially if my impatience caused me to question one's ability and thus made one feel less than.
Patience, I think, may be an indicater of... emotionaly maturity. Intellectual maturity as well, I suppose, since one demonstrating patience is most likely remembering that they desire patience to be shown with them and so are remembering the Way...

There is a definite difference between: "Treat others how you would have others treat you." and 'Treat others how you are willing to tolerate others treating you in response.' My latter allows one to justify... anything, where the former is much more restrictive, which could be a problem...
The former requires work when one realizes that they are treating others how they would not have others treat them. (This is not a bad thing, I'm just sayin'.)

Do not demand if you do not desire to be demanded of.

[Rape 1] = an undesired sexual act
[Rape 2] = a desired sexual act
One is not justified, according to the Way, to do, to another, [rape1] because it is impossible for one to desire [rape 1] being done to them. What this one actually desires is [rape 2], so this one is justified, according to the Way, to do, to another, [rape 2]...
[Rape 1] done to another is unpleasurable to another. [Rape 2] done to another is pleasurable to another. [Rape 2] may have everything in common with [rape 1] (the entire scenario... the violence... the positions... [everyting]) except: the receiver of [rape 2] is getting pleasure from the act whereas the receiver of [rape1] is not. (Yes. I see that there's some technicalities to work out as the receiver of [rape 1] might derive some type of pleasure...)

I think, perhaps, that not one single person desires to be mocked. If one mocks, I think, they are justifying it according to 'Treat others how you are willing to tolerate others treating you in response.' Ah. A little of this may be necessary though... Although it may only appear as if my previous way is being employed when in fact it may be the Way that is still being employed...
Hmmm... Okay. One does not desire to be mocked so chooses not to mock but effects of this cause are less pleasureable then the effects of the cause: mocking others, so, one then chooses to mock others... Ah!

It is true that I desire to talk not to one and that I desire one to talk not to me. What I desire not is one to talk not to me with certain types of intent, so I talk not to one with those certain types of intent...

I think something that may be very important for the Way to work well may be to clearly define words. The denotation and the conotation (the intent, the reason the conveyor conveys the word...). Let's say that no one desires to be criticized with the intent of the conveyor to insult. This doesn't mean that no one desires to be criticized with the intent of the conveyor to... inform...

A key thing to prove, I think, would be that what we do eventually get's done back to us. This would make it easier for everyone to adopt the Way and put in effort, especially if it's also proven that everything we do is motivated by our seeking of pleasure.

I tried to kill a bear so I accept a bear trying to kill me...

I do random acts of kindness and do not demand or expect reciprocation so that I am not obligated to reciprocate others' random acts of kindness.

If it's not true that what we do eventually get's done back to us "naturally" we could make it true "artificially" by establishing effects... by establishing laws...
No more than an eye for an eye but probably less than that since we've proven that absolute proof is somewhat intangible and that we are all fallible.
