This is possibly John Travolta's best role ever.
It's actually an older movie like from the late 90's, starring Scarlett Johansson and John Travolta.
It takes place in New Orleans, and it's beautiful.
I showed it to my husband and he actually thanked me for showing it to him.
It's incredible!
Travolta plays a drunken ex-literature professor who ran to new orleans from mississippi after his life turned bad.
Johansson plays a young lady who's mother dies and she goes home to new orleans to settle the estate when she finds Travolta and another young (and sexy) man (travolta's old lit assistant, and a writer..actor is gabrial macht) living in her mother's home. they all share the house for awhile and learn a lot about love, family, friends, life and dealing with the [private]s of the past haunting the present.
its a tear jerker for sure, and in my top movies of all time.
