First time I cut my hair SHORTshort, I styled it after Virginia post-curse. Heehee.
Anyway. So, there are two versions. I've rented the shortened "movie-length" version before, and it cuts out friggin EVERYTHING. So I finally started watching the full length version, purchased on eBay, finally arrived yesterday. My boyo had never seen it before! If I'd known that, I wouldn't have just put it off for a "whenever I get around to it" purchase. But we've gotten pretty far into it. We're 40 minutes from the end of the 2nd of 3 discs. Right after the wolf guy got rejected (*sniffle*).
I'm just reminded why I loved it so much.
The visual effects are awesome (though not flawless) and numerous. The characters are wonderful ("And I am Bluebell, TERRIFIED throughout the 9 kingdoms!").
Sure, it's 400-some minutes when you watch the full version, and boy and I only got through disc 1 and most of disc 2 in a day, but we'll finish it tomorrow. :)
Anyone else seen it recently or remember it? It's always placed right up there with Labyrinth for my favorite movie. :)
And DAMN I love Juliette...the woodsman? :D
