Starting weight: 217.8lbsSeems disappointing, right? Well, not really - I was fully expecting this. First off, I'm still not convinced that the previous weeks' loss wasn't just normal weight fluctuation. Most importantly, though, my birthday was last week. Since I celebrated both with my family and then with friends, there were two birthday cakes to be consumed ([private] made an awesome German chocolate cake btw!). In addition to allowing myself to indulge in pizza and my dad serving up some amazingly good steak of which I ate entirely too much.

So, I expected this morning's result to at least "undo" the weight loss of the previous weeks, and knew it was possible to actually result in an overall gain. But, now that we're here, it's time to return to eating right, and hopefully very soon exercising.
