Nurse Lilith, at what point should the referred nerve "zinging" pain be a concern? I really don't think anything broke, I think the area is just inflamed and causing some pressure on the whole plexus area down there, resulting in the pain. I don't have time nor money to go to the E.R. for them to do a CT scan of the area, so I'd rather defer that for if I lose sensation, mobility, or tissue perfusion. As I can feel (albeit with pins and needles) my feet, I'm going to wait unless someone gives me compelling justification otherwise. What do you think?
