I just finished taking a 2-month course of Protonix a few days ago. It was treating my acid reflux, and according to the info booklet, that amount of time is often all that's required to repair the damage to the esophagus, and then sometimes the reflux subsides on its own. Apparently that's not the case with me, because this is the second night in a row that I've gotten a bad case of heart burn. Right after the day that I actually started singing again. Go figure. ::headdesk::

::sighs:: Any of you have any suggestions for easing acid reflux without having to take medication on a daily basis? I'm already going to cut down on the sweets (a big issue with me), and I don't really eat spicy foods to begin with. And my voice teacher suggested that I get a pillow that allows me to sleep at an incline, so that my head is higher than my stomach. I'm probably going to give that a try as well. Anything else?
