I babysit two kids on mondays and wednesdays. Their mom signed them up for this "ball class" on wednesdays, and its my job to take them to it. I had no idea what they planned on doing, but assumed they would get bored really quickly.

So we went yesterday. Oh dear lord! They were having so much fun on these stability balls. Standing on them, kneeling on them, making chairs out of two or three of them. The whole thing was about balance and using muscle groups that don't normally get used every day, and challenging those that are used to doing the same motions day after day.

I watched them for about half an hour, and decided it looked like too much fun. I went in and asked him if I could try it out. He said, "Sure, come on in!". In thirty minutes of doing these motions, I am more sore than I am after an hour and a half of intense weight training.

The best thing is, anyone can participate in this class. He's got 3 year olds, to 87 year olds with alzheimers. The 87 year old was wheeled into the place in a wheel chair the first day. three months later, she is standing on top of a ball in the middle of the room. The three year old can stand on one ball, and jump to another. Its amazing the muscle control that you learn!

So thats my new exercise class. I'm really excited about it. I hate exercising, but this is fun, so I didn't think about the fact that I was exercising while I was in there. But I'm feeling it everywhere today!

I left out the part that it costs 25 dollars a month, each class is up to two hours long (but you can come and go as you need to), and he offers classes every afternoon, and three mornings a week.

I might just look decent in a swim suit this summer
