He brought home Guitar Hero [private]smith the other day (it comes out Sunday I think), and I just finished it on medium (I'm sure I could do at least a few of them on hard, but I'm sure I couldn't beat it, and I wanted to see all of the songs). I had decent hopes for this game, but I have to say I'm not impressed, and I think I'd be mad if I had just shelled out the money for it.
It's set up so that each set of 5 songs is like a gig, and the first two songs are "opening acts" by other bands, then the last 3 are [private]smith songs. I was hoping for more [private]smith songs that I'd actually heard before, although there are a few (7 or 8) that I know. The setting of the 'concerts' are at places that [private]smith has played, the Orpheum [sp?] is an earlier one, moves up through playing halftime at the Super Bowl, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, etc. If you're thinking about buying it, I'd recommend you rent it or play a friend's before spending the money.
