would already be legal, as many states have exceptions for alcohol that is drunk for religious purposes (especially if it is the minor's parent that is serving the minor the alcohol.)


Good post though, and I agree that the stuff about lowering the drinking age increasing the amount of drunk driving doesn't quite make sense.... I might be able to see it increasing it a little bit, but not significantly so, and I would think that could be counteracted by making drunk driving laws even tougher. I sometimes want to do statistics analysis on this type of stuff...
