Posted by Sedruce at 1:23am Mar 29 '07We have a lot of age-related laws. Tobacco, alcohol, sex/porn, and the difference in the legal system between a minor and an adult. Most laws are straightforward that at X age, this legal thing suddenly applies/doesn't apply to you. Sometimes the difference between a minor and an adult gets blurred because judges deem a kid's crime so bad that s/he needs to be tried as an adult or such.
What are your thoughts on this? Advantages, disadvantages, are the current ages where you think they should be, etc.
I'll chime in a little later. I have some pretty vehement thoughts on this, but I feel a little listless right now. :P
