Consumer confidence is up and new jobless claims are the lowest they've been in four years. We've seen a number of misleading "yay recovery!" news in the last few years, but hey maybe it'll start to really stick. The last six months have also seen the most job creation in years. Hopefully the trend will continue, and strengthen. Still a lot of uncertainty in Europe, and now China, though. Speaking of China... can anyone explain how a Chinese recession would hurt the US economy?
