Hard drives maxing out at 1 GB? A 75 MHz processor recommended for home PCs? Just remember: these specs certainly had serious "wow factor" at the time. It's incredible how quickly the state of technology has progressed, even as prices have drastically fallen.

My first PC was a Pentium 90, bought probably around 1995. That was the one I got onto the internet for the first time with. I don't think the hard drive was even 1 GB.
