Notes/Rules (partially quoted from above):
1. Digital photos (or scans) will be submitted, of highest quality attainable, in JPG format, at a maximum of 800 pixels on the long side and 600 pixels on the short side.
2. No borders, watermarks, or names will be put on the submission. If you insist on a copyright symbol and your name, please attach 2 identical photos, one without a name for anonymous judging and one with a name for public display.
3. Post-processing editing is allowed but no heavy manipulations. Please do only what could be done in the darkroom. Any questions on this, please ask me for clarification.
4. You will keep 100% the rights to your photo at all times but we ask that you do not post it on 4K prior to the Blot release, if you wish to discuss it and share it with 4K.
5. While you *can* discuss the theme, it is best not to, to ensure it stays broad and any and all artistic interpretations of the theme are attained.
6. One submission per user.
7. While the intention is for new material to be created, we won't deny entry of older photos.
8. You must own the rights to, and have taken, the photo.
9. While [private] will be managing, entering, and partly financing the contest, she will not view any submissions until after she has taken her own photo for the contest.
